- This will be a 30min Sweat class that focuses on maintaining heart rate and working hard enough to get in and get out!
- No barbells here. Dumbells, Kettlebells, and your body will be the name of the game.
- If you want to take a step back from working on heavy weights for the day this will be a great active recovery day for any athlete.

Intro to Barbells
These classes are designed to get you familiar with the types of movements you'll see in our Lokal Fit classes.
One of the reasons why Lokal Strength is unique from other gyms is because we employ functional movements – multi-joint movements that closely replicate those found in sports or life, and which strengthen and engage an entire kinetic chain instead of an individual muscle or muscle group. Because these movements can be complex, and are often unfamiliar to those new to fitness, they often require practice before they can be employed safely and effectively. Our Intro class not only affords you instruction on these movements, but also the opportunity for people to apply what they’ve learned in a controlled environment.
- Our Intro program is designed to go over the basic movements in a slower and more detail-oriented pace than normal classes, in a one-on-one or small group setting with your coach.
- Each Intro class will include time to try out everything you’ve learned in a class-style workout that is scaled to fit your needs and abilities.
- Our Intro format gives you more instructional time and personal attention in the initial learning period. Come open minded. You’ll be learning new things and meeting new people!
